Why does it matter whom you choose to hire to inspect your property?

It's simple.

Home inspectors, like many other pros, have to be licensed in the state of Texas. That's where the similarities end. 

There are 3 different types of licensing in Texas.

1. Apprentice = In training. Not licensed to inspect on their own.

2. Real Estate Inspector = Licensed at the level to inspect homes on their own.

Another area where inspectors are set apart is organizational affiliation.

Lastly, even if your Real Estate Agent has recommended an inspector, I encourage you to do your own research and find the inspector you feel comfortable with! The home buying process can be very stressful, so it's important that you have a Professional Inspector on your side!
